Secluded 3 bedroom detached house with a stunning view overlooking the Irish Sea.
Located on a quiet country lane with ¾ acre (0.3 hectares), of landscaped gardens on an elevated site. Five minutes walk from a long quiet beach, where seals and dolphins can sometimes be seen from the shore. Please note it is a steep decline/incline to this beach, but there are many other sandy beaches which are located within a short drive from the house, including the beach used in the filming of Saving Private Ryan (Curracloe beach).
The house consists of a main bedroom (en-suite), with a king-size bed. The second bedroom has a double and single bed. The third bedroom has a double bed. The living room has a large window with sea views, a wood-burning stove, a TV and DVD. player. There is a large dining room with sea views and a separate kitchen/diner. The front conservatory has comfortable seating and also has wonderful sea views. The side conservatory has a gas barbecue and outside dining is possible with a table and chairs available for when the weather is warm and bright, in what is known as Ireland’s “Sunny South East”.
The garden is securely fenced and is not overlooked. Pets are welcome. The small village of Blackwater with a small supermarket, pubs etc. is two kilometers from the house. Great fishing is available locally, as well as horse-riding stables and Blackwater’s Par 3 golf course. the house is located very close to the beautiful scenic Wexford Walking Trail.
Wexford town is also within an easy commute, with many restaurants, cinemas, an Opera House (which hosts all types of music and performance including Opera), swimming pools, health shops and much more.
So whether you wish to have a quiet relaxing holiday or a more active holiday, this location offers the possibility of both.

Summary: Fantastic view and great hostess. The three of us were on vacation here for 13 nights with our five-year-old daughter. You definitely need a car to get here and good nerves when it comes to left-hand traffic and narrow roads. But you will be rewarded with a great view of the sea. During these 2 weeks we had a variety of weather, from sunny to windy with rain. But even the rain didn't bother us at all, it's just part of it. The house is very large and cozy, but is a bit outdated (as far as the sanitary facilities are concerned). So there is everything you need to spend cozy evenings. Only those who like to take long showers will miss something here (the water pressure is not so strong). But otherwise there is nothing to complain about. The hostess Elaine is super nice and helps with all questions. Warm regards.

Summary: The house was perfect and all the amenities required for our family getaway to explore Wexford. Elaine was an amazing host, giving a tour of the home and explaining everything from hot water for the shower to where we can buy firewood for the fireplace. Warm scone in the oven?!?! And she checked in regularly, ensuring we didn't need anything. We cannot recommend the home or Elaine enough and thank her for making our week the perfect vacation for us all.

Summary: Enjoyed every minute of this fabulous holiday. The bungalow was perfect for us, very homely, well equipped and has the most comfortable beds. The setting was amazing, waking up to the seaview every day and walking the beautiful beach only 5 mins away. We will definitely be back!!

Summary: My wife and I have had several good experiences over the years of renting cottages in Ireland for our annual summer vacation; none of them has been better than this. The house is extremely pleasant; the location is wonderful; the property owner was friendly and helpful way beyond the call of duty. For peace and relaxation, we have found nothing better and we are very eager to return.
